Tramming Lisbon

If you have been a constant on my blog, you would know how I love street walking a new town. Especially city centers and old towns of European capitals. They all are an entourage of culture, history, geography, civics, philosophy and politics. There is so much to explore.

The aura of a place meshes with the individuals and you see the whole country on the stage. The cheap Bangladeshi shops with China made goods being sold as authentic Portuguese art, if this is not an authentic potpourri of culture, trade and ethnicity then I don’t know what is. In order to preserve history and past you don’t want to stifle the present and future.

Immigration and globalisation is here to stay, so learn to live with it. Evolve. Not all changes in the world happen thru wars and pandemics, some happen slow and steady changing the DNA strains and the natural habitats of people.

Amongst the new and colorful, you will find vintage shining and glorious. Past will find its way to be told to the future generations. We can embrace the future and understand the past. If you try the latter you waste a lot of time.

Like these old tram, rickshaws and vintage cars living up in a modern and fast world! ♥️💜
