Living in a monochrome

I live in a monochrome
While life passes by..
I look around.. but its all fuzzy..
I look in the mirror and its not me..

Very very interesting. I earlier thought of myself as being monochromatic but now I hope I have become colourful :)

Thanks Sujata.. there are phases of life... like memory shots or old pictures.. some look colorful and bright with lots of laughter and smiles.. some look hazy and blur with confusion and wonder...

@Neha
I like the term memory shots, sepia images albeit distorted by the passage of time,appear in slow motion as though in a slide slow.
Don't they say that photos are timeless, you capture a moment and its frozen in time? When you look back you can relieve the exact moment down to a T.

there have been lot of debate about pictures capturing the real thing.. with such advancements in photography its possible to come closest to it.. and then even make it appear better with B&w sepia contrast and shades.. have made some videos but a picture is like a canvas now.. it doesnt show reality - we create reality

Pictures capturing the exact real thing is very rare as per me,an amateur. The thing that you photograph is infinitely more beautiful and has more to say than what an average camera captures. But as you said with the advanced technology and expertise its possible to come quite close.

I agree with you about a picture being like a canvas and us creating reality we create for others to see and interpret.

also i have been born with probably 2 left hands (disclaimer on quote) cos I cant draw or paint so camera comes closest to creating something new for me...

Ditto!! The camera fills the void in that way :)

but even with camera there is so much to learn.. i am still probably using only 10% of its potential

Perfectly true,there are too many things left to explore.
